Actor Ali Fazal will not return as Zafar in the third installment of “Fukrey 3” as “time and schedule” do not allow him. Amidst the announcement of the release date of ‘Fukrey 3’, the poster created a stir as it did not feature the fourth ‘Fukrey’ Ali Fazal. He has now issued a statement saying that he will not be part of the third establishment.
Ali said in a statement, “So Zafar will come or not? Everyone is asking this again and again. Sorry friends, not this time!” “Zafar bhai ko kabhi Guddu Bhaiya bhi banane pada hai. Aur do universe overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi. (Zafar has sometimes become Guddu Bhaiya. The overlapping happens in the two universes.)”
Ali said, “Once Fukra always Fukra, so I am around..but I will not be on screen for the third film of Fukra, Bholi and Pandit ji. I wanted to be a part of it, but time and time again. Schedule didn’t give me permission.”
“I’ll be back at some point in the future, maybe earlier than you expect. Zafar will be back after a short detour to entertain you guys!”
The third installment of comedy film ‘Fukrey’ starring actors Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha is all set to hit the big screens on the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami on 7th September.
‘Fukrey 3’, which also stars Pankaj Tripathi, is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced under Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
