
Allu Arjun-starrer and pan-India blockbuster film ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ will begin a traveling festival of six films that will be screened across 24 Russian cities as part of the Indian Film Festival from December 1 to 6.
The film festival is being organized by Indian Films in association with the National Cultural Center of India and SITA with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of India in Russia.
Screenings will be held in cinemas of the Russian network, Cinema Park, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and other cities.
The program featured six all-time hits, including Karan Johardrama, ‘My Name is Khan’ and the musical melodrama film, ‘Disco Dancer’ starring Mithun Chakraborty, which has a huge fan following in Russia.
‘Pushpa – The Rise’ written and directed by Sukumar Bandreddy will be the opening film of the festival.
The Indian Film Festival will be inaugurated in Moscow on December 1. ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ will be personally introduced by the makers and lead actors: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Sukumar Banreddy and producer Ravi Shankar.
On December 3, the cast and crew members of ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ will attend the screening of the film at Galleria, a shopping center in St. Petersburg.

Other popular Indian films to be screened at the festival include ‘RRR’, ‘Dangal’ and ‘War’.
