Amitabh Bachchan has informed his fans via a blog post that his left leg was injured after a metal piece cut his vein, causing bleeding. Due to bleeding, Big B had to be taken to the hospital and got stitches. He further informed fans and followers that he has not been medically advised to walk or move until the injury has healed. Big B said that he got injured on stage during the shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. They have been asked not to put any pressure on the injured leg.

Big B informed the fans that he got injured during the shooting of the reality show KBC 14. “Some of the best performances get their due on the floor stage where the curtains don’t dare to go down.. so hurt or not (sic),” the Bollywood megastar wrote in his blog. Big B recently turned 80 and fans and film industry colleagues have wished him all the best. The news of his injury will surely be disappointing for the fans.

Sharing some pictures from the day of the shoot of KBC 14, Big B said that he cut his left calf with a piece of metal. He said that the medical staff rushed to his aid and later he was taken to the hospital where he received stitches. He also said that he has been medically advised not to put pressure on his leg and that he is not even advised to walk till he recovers.
“A jute piece of metal cut my left calf and managed to cut the vein.. The vein when cut ‘red’ came out uncontrollably…. in time with the help of staff and team of doctors ..but the medical in recruitment is not allowed to stand, move, even walk on the treadmill (sic),” Big B further wrote in his blog.
