It’s been ten days since the release of James Cameron’s ‘Avatar 2’. The film is performing brilliantly at the box office. Avatar: The Way of Water is receiving positive response from critics and audience. According to trade reports, Avatar 2 has had a stellar Christmas as the film managed to collect around Rs 24 crore in India. With this, the total collection now stands at Rs 250 crore.
In the southern states of India, Avatar 2 has seen the best growth with collections on the second Saturday. According to BOI, “The growth will be huge especially now in the weekend as Circus has not performed very well and Mumbai circuit starts to lead comfortably for the film. Nizam/Andhra has overtaken but from Saturday it Chances are Mumbai is really cutting into that lead fast and could still be the biggest circuit, as is the case with most Hollywood films releasing in India.”
