Avatar 2 Box Office Collection Day 16: James Cameron’s film is unbeatable. Avatar: The Way of Water is a huge success at the global box office. It set a record as the fastest film to reach $1 billion in ticket sales and continues to do well in India. The film continues its strong momentum in India despite celebrating New Year’s Eve on 31st December. The film registered an impressive collection in the second week, showing a great hold with a drop of less than 50% from its first week. As per the initial estimates, the film collected around Rs 12.50 crore on day 16.

Reportedly, the total collection of Avatar: The Way of Water is Rs 316.50 crore. It has become the second Hollywood film to reach this mark after “Avengers: Endgame”, which earned INR 367 crores ($50.5 million). If the strong momentum of Avatar continues, then the film will be able to cross the total collection of Avengers Endgame in India. However, a lot will depend on its performance on Monday and in the coming weeks.

In India, the film has fared much better than its 2009 predecessor, “Avatar” and has shown strong growth for Hollywood in the country compared to other major markets worldwide.
