Avatar: The Way of Water has opened strongly at the box office in India. According to Box Office India, the business of Avatar 2 was majorly driven by South Indian markets such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Together they earned Rs 22 crore.
