Bigg Boss 16: Aas Salman Khan got dengue Karan Johar took over the show as Khan’s replacement. Karan hosted two Diwali episodes, which aired on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and October 23, in which he reprimanded Gori Nagori for her fight with actress-politician Archana Gautam and the love interest of Gautam Singh Vig and Soundarya Sharma on the show. The incident was called ‘fake’. , He even accused Gautham Vig of maligning Soundarya’s image as he is just playing with famous contestants for promotions.
In yesterday’s episode, Karan took full advantage of being the host and made sure to reveal some inside conversations with the contestant, one of which was Priyanka expressing her thoughts about Soundarya. Karan shared a clip of Priyanka in which she was seen calling Soundarya characterless. This revelation took a toll and led to a heated argument between the two. The argument turned really bad. Yesterday apart from Priyanka and Soundarya, Shalin Bhanot and Shiv Thackeray also had a fight. The house turned upside down yesterday after Karan ignited the clashes between the contestants.
Netizens seemed unhappy with Karan’s hosting and also felt that he was being biased. He took to Twitter to share his opinion and looked disappointed as he wants Salman Khan back as the host. One user tweeted, “Both Gori and Archana are equally abusing and using rubbish language. #KaranJohar should watch the full episode, both were at fault”, while another tweeted, ” I don’t care if anyone agrees or not but Karan Johan was biased in WKV #BiggBoss”. Another tweet read, “Karan Johar is so biased on #WeekendKaVaar & this is clearly seen on @ColorsTV! He justifies poor behavior of some contestants & doesn’t let other contestants speak..Very one-sided !! So again proved that no one can host #BB16 like Salman Khan!!”
Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial reality shows and the audience has witnessed some of the most scandalous fights in the show. Though the show has also given us some of the most beautiful love stories, this season feels a little different. Going forward we can only wish Salman Khan a speedy recovery.
