Bigg Boss 16: Salman Khan Hosted the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of the reality show Bigg Boss 16 and the housemates were ready for a task as the Bollywood star put them up for some tough choices. Gautam was asked to become the captain of the house and in return he had to give up the ration of all the members of the house. Gautam was a bit hesitant at first but later he took over the post of captain and sacrificed all the ration of Bigg Boss house. The contestants were upset with this decision of Gautam and this thing became clear later.
Gautam in two minds about becoming captain
During the “Saam Daam Dand Bhed” segment in Bigg Boss 16, Salman Khan offered the captaincy to Gautham. But it comes with “daam” – the entire ration of the house. Gautam took the offer. The whole house, including his lady love Soundarya Sharma, turned against him. Gautam’s reaction to that was that he said that he did not think and was under pressure. Meanwhile, he also requested Salman Khan and Bigg Boss if he can reverse his decision for the sake of the family members. However, his decision was not reversed. He survived the elimination and became the new captain of the house. He is also exempted from being nominated for eviction.
Sajid Khan angry with Gautam
People in the house like Sajid Khan and Priyanka Chaudhary were in deep shock and said that Gautam should have thought about the house before giving up the ration, Sajid became especially aggressive and said ‘ab ye phans gaya hai mere saath ghar mein hai’ ‘ (Now he is stuck in the house with me). He also abused Gautam in front of the family members MC Stan and Shiv.

Social media users were upset with the abusive language used by Sajid against Gautam in the show. Many condemned his tone and choice of words.
