BTS Jimin’s Solo Album: The BTS members are now focusing on their individual careers. While RM, Jin, Suga, Jungkook, and J-Hope have already released their songs and albums, the ARMY is eagerly waiting to hear from Jimin and V aka Kim Taehyung. Well, if reports are to be believed, K-pop fans might get to hear an announcement from Jimin very soon. There are reports that he will be appearing on BigBang’s Taeyang’s new album. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.
According to the website Soompi, YG Entertainment responded to these reports saying, ‘We are currently investigating [whether it’s true], Big Hit Music is yet to share its statement on the rumored collaboration. Jimin recently made headlines when it was shared that he was the third most Googled K-pop idol after BTS V aka Kim Taehyung and Jungkook. Jimin hasn’t released any solo projects yet he’s been in trends. Their VLIVEs attracted a lot of attention and their first OST ‘With You’ along with Ha Sungwon from Kdrama ‘Our Blues’ topped the charts. Her Artemis concept photoshoot also caught the eye of many.
In addition, BTS has recently been in the news regarding Jin’s military enlistment. The K-pop artist will reportedly start his mandatory military service on December 13. BigHit previously shared that all seven members of BTS will be doing their military service. According to the company, the other members – RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – are planning to do their military service based on their individual plans.
In South Korea, all able-bodied males are required to serve in the military for approximately two years. In a statement posted on fan community forum Weavers, the band’s management company BigHit Music said that the septet expected to reunite as a unit around 2025 following their service commitment.
The group, which debuted in 2013, is currently on a break as a unit, with each member pursuing solo projects. They had announced their break in June this year.
