We all have seen Ayushmann playing some offbeat characters like a sperm donor in ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012), a man suffering from erectile dysfunction in ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ (2017) and an up-and-coming young man. doctor ji story and trailer
The film follows the struggles of a male doctor who takes an interest in orthopedics but ends up becoming a gynecologist instead, thus leading to chaos. The story revolves around a male gynecologist’s struggle with the current society, and how women still feel uncomfortable dealing with male gynecologists. The only character written with depth and clarity is Uday’s (Ayushmann Khurrana) vivacious widowed mother, played by the formidable Sheeba Chadha, who, in this film, rises above even the bashful but ultimately rock-solid mom. Is.
The film earned Rs 25.45 crore in India and Rs 40.71 crore globally, against a production budget of Rs 35 crore. Despite being a low budget film, there is no doubt that the box office performance of ‘Doctor Ji’ is not very good, but it is not a failure at the box office either.
