Filmfare OTT Awards 2022: Abhishek Bachchan wins Best Actor, Web Original Film for ‘Dasvi’ Full list

Filmfare OTT Awards 2022: Hero in Mumbai Abhishek Bacchan Starrer ‘Daasvi’ won big as it won both Best Film and Best Actor (Male), followed by Taapsee Pannu who won Best Actress (Female) for ‘Looop Lapeta’. Danube Properties Filmfare OTT Awards 2022 was a grand event which was attended by many prominent and ruling faces of the OTT space. Celebrities like Bhumi Pednekar, Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia, Raveena Tandon Anil Kapoor, Neena GuptaGauahar Khan, Harshvardhan Kapoor and others attended the event.

Leaving everyone behind, ‘Rocket Boys’ won with most of the awards in the lead and technical categories.

Abhishek Bachchan received the award for Best Actor, Web Original Film – Male for his performance in the drama film ‘Dasvi’. Helmed by Tushar Jalota, the social comedy also starred Nimrit Kaur and Yami Gautam and opened to positive response from the audience. In the film, Abhishek played the role of Chief Minister Ganga Ram Choudhary, an ‘eighth pass’ who is put behind bars due to his involvement in a scam. Nimrat played the role of Chaudhary’s wife Bimala Devi, who takes over as chief minister while he is in jail.
