Veteran actor Kamal Haasan hosted a birthday party on Monday As he turned 68. The actor invited some of his industry friends and colleagues to celebrate with him. The guest list included actors Bindu Madhavi, Radhika Sarathkumar, Siddharth and actor-filmmakers R Parthiban, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Maskin among others. His daughter Akshara Haasan was also present at the party, who shook hands with him.

A video of Kamal dancing with Akshara has surfaced online. In the video, the father-daughter duo, dressed in black outfits, danced together on the song ‘Who’s the Hero’ from the Tamil film Manmadan Anbu, featuring Kamal along with Trisha and R Madhavan. Earlier on Monday, Akshara wished her father by sharing a picture with her. He captioned it, “Happy Birthday Dear Bapuji.”

Radhika also shared a few pictures from the festivities and captioned them, “Master class by Master, Happy Birthday @ikamalhaasan #ulaganayagan #bigboss #friend #actor #legend Wishing you health, peace and happiness ️❤️❤️❤️ @lokesh .kanagaraj @dirlingusamy #myshkin.”

Actor Sidharth shared a picture of himself with Kamal and wished him a very happy birthday. “My favorite actor ever since I was a kid. My mentor is far from my entire working life. As an actor it has taken me 20 years to earn the privilege of calling you my co-actor, my Indian forever! All Thank you for something Kamal sir. Hope I earn more love, kindness, wisdom and guidance from you as my follower in this coming year. Happy Birthday Greatest!❤️” he wrote on Instagram.

R. Parthiban also posted a picture with the star.

Earlier, actor-filmmaker Suhasini hosted a party on the occasion of her uncle’s birthday. He shared the pictures of the celebration on social media. On the occasion, Kamal announced that he would collaborate with director Mani Ratnam after a gap of 35 years. The actor is currently shooting for director Shankar’s film ‘Indian 2’.
