Kangana Ranaut reviews Kantara: ‘I don’t think I will recover from this experience’

After many celebrities, actress Kangana Ranaut is also stunned by the theme of the film and the way the story is told. He praised the film on his social media and called it ‘unbelievable’.

Kantara is a story that revolves around a semi-god – ghostOne who trades the forest land of the tribal in exchange for his pleasure with the king. The king’s son grows up to be a greedy person and claims the land as a series of events take place.

Kangana uploaded a video on her Instagram stories, in which she said, “I am back after watching a film called Kantara with my family and I am still shivering. What an explosive experience! Rishabh Shetty salutes you. Writing, directing, acting, action, fantastic! Incredible! What a great mix of folklore, tradition, indigenous issues. What a beautiful photography, action, thriller.”

Kangana got so emotionally agitated that she said that she would not come out of this experience for long. The actor added in the video, “This is cinema, this is movies and the theatrical experience, unbelievable. I heard so many people in the theatre, people go and go saying that we haven’t seen anything like this ever (I’ve seen a lot of people) Heard saying they were leaving that they haven’t seen anything like this. Thank you for this movie and awesome. I don’t think I’ll be able to recover from this experience, not for another week. Awesome!”

A few days back, Kangana posted on her social media that she is ‘interested and curious’ about the film and can’t wait to see Kantara.

Kantara was initially released only in Kannada, but after positive reception, it was later dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The film has grossed over Rs 170 crore worldwide, including over Rs 150 crore in India.

The film has become the third highest-grossing Kannada film of all time after actor Yash’s KGF: Chapter 1, which earned Rs 250 crore, and KGF: Chapter 2, which earned Rs 1,207 crore globally.

The film is receiving appreciation from celebrities across the country, including names like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Madhur Bhandarkar, among others. BowRana Daggubati, Kicha Sudeep etc.
