Kantara Box Office Collection: The Hindi dubbed of Rishabh Shetty’s Kannada film is doing exceptionally well at the ticket window. The film recently crossed the Rs 75 mark and is now set to break more records. The film has earned over Rs 350 crore worldwide and continues to grow even more than 50 days after its release. While the box office numbers of the Hindi dub have remained steady so far, it showed an increase over the weekend.

It is reported that in the fifth week, Kantara collected less than Rs 1 crore at the box office. The film is expected to do better and show growth over the weekend. According to the initial figures, Kantara has done a business of Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday. According to reports, the film has done a business of Rs 370 crores worldwide so far. Also, trade reports suggested that the Hindi dub of the film is expected to earn Rs 100 crore soon. It recently touched the $3 million mark in the US.
About Kantara
Kantara was released in Kannada version and Hindi version on 30 September and 14 October respectively. The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Homebel Films, the film stars Rishab Shetty, Saptami Gowda and Kishore Kumar in lead roles.
Made on a relatively meager budget of around Rs 16 crore, the film revolving around obscure customs, traditions and local folklore is becoming a hit outside Karnataka as well.
Kantara OTT Release
Fans are looking forward to the online release of Kanata. While the makers haven’t made any announcement yet, reports suggest that a date has been finalised. As per the trade tracking handle, Kanata will release on November 24 on Amazon Prime Video. The film will be available in all major South Indian languages. However, the streaming platform and makers are yet to confirm the same.
