Kantara Hindi Box Office Collection: Kannada film Kantara, directed by Rishabh Shetty, has become one of the most talked about films of 2022. While South films continue to make inroads in the northern regions, Kantara has outperformed all regional hits this year except Yash starter KGF: Chapter 2. After becoming a huge success in the domestic market, the film was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam and continued its successful run in dubbed versions as well.
Kantara saw more movement of people than Ram Setu and Thank God
A Box Office India report has claimed that in Maharashtra, the Hindi version of Kantara is witnessing higher viewership than the latest Bollywood releases Ram Setu and Thank God. It has been more than two weeks since Kantara hit the big screen and still it is getting more viewers than popular Bollywood releases. This is a good sign for regional releases and a worrying sign for films like A-list stars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. Its weekend collections have once again been excellent and the business has grown once again.
