Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, the streaming giant, released on Netflix on Friday. The espionage thriller depicts the story of an undercover operation conducted by India before and during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. In the film, a RAW field agent named Amandeep Singh travels to Pakistan on an undercover operation to investigate Pakistan’s involvement in developing nuclear weapons. While there, he must balance his work and personal life with his blind girlfriend, Nasreen. Sidharth Malhotra is no stranger to this style. He showed his patriotism with the smash hit Shershaah. As soon as the film released on Friday, fans jammed the microblogging site praising the film.
