
Nitin Mehta, a former army officer turned actor in Telugu and Tamil films, plays a villain after a 21-year career in the army as a lieutenant colonel. An alumnus of the National Defense Academy, Nitin was a mechanical engineer for helicopter maintenance. In 2016, at the age of 44, he made his acting debut after leaving his uniform. She jumped into modeling and played several characters and roles in Tamil and Telugu films. Starting his career in films at the age of 45, people cannot fathom and now at the age of 50, he is busy being the bad guy of Tollywood.
Nitin Mehta’s career started with a beautiful film called Akhand which became a super hit, where his negative character was appreciated and recognized all over the country. He has also appeared in several commercials for- Tanishq, Kalyan Jewellers, Vistara, Spice Jet and more. He is now a regular face in print and TV commercials and has walked the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week just before joining Tamil and Telugu films. Even though his father had predicted that his film portfolio would be a waste of money, he went ahead and built a portfolio for himself. His curvy physique, strict fitness regime and looks give him who he is today. True to his army spirit and his olive-green uniform, Nitin sends the message- age is just a number and you just have to remove the number plate from your life to fulfill your dreams.
