‘Pitchers 1’ was the story of four entrepreneurs who quit their jobs to set up their own venture and faced all odds. It starred Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhay Mahajan and Jitendra Kumar in lead roles and was streamed in 2015. Now the second season is coming after a gap of seven years. While the cast remains the same except for Jitendra; Riddhi Dogra joins the team in Episode 5 Season 2 reveals that the boys have gone from beer to whiskey and from founding a start-up to growing a start-up, but ‘Pitchers’ The essence remains the same.

Tamil action drama Kari starring Sasikumar is about the life of a horse jockey in Chennai and how fate brings him to a small village in Tamil Nadu’s Ramnad district. The film also stars Parvathy Arun, JD Chakraborty, Balaji Sakthivel, Aadukalam Naren, Ammu Abhirami and Radin Kingsley in key roles. “A champion race jockey, a multi-millionaire, and a simple village girl, these three characters and the pastoral countryside of Kariyur are miles apart, until one day their lives change and destiny brings them into direct conflict with each other. Gets in the way,” the official story read.
Sasikumar plays Sethu, a horse jockey with a stable in Chennai. His life takes a turn when his father – Vellasamy (Naren) dies, followed by the death of his pet horse.
