The Tamil trailer ‘Thalapathy’ of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ will run as part of a unique collaboration between Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ and Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’.
As they feature two top Kollywood stars, their film releases during the Pongal festival holidays in Tamil Nadu, promising an epic box-office clash.
Earlier in the day, Vijay unveiled the Tamil trailer of ‘Pathan’ on his social media handle and extended his best wishes.
Vijay tweeted: “Best wishes to Shahi sir and team for Pathan. Here’s the trailer.”
In return, SRK tweeted, “Thank you my friend @actorvijay. You are the Thalapathy for this humble cause, let’s meet soon for a delicious feast.”
Apart from Hindi, the YRF film directed by Siddharth Anand is also scheduled to release in Telugu and Tamil on January 25.
Meanwhile, ‘Varisu’ vs ‘Thunivu’ is being touted as the biggest clash in Tamil cinema in recent times as Vijay and Ajith come face-to-face after eight years!
