Ram Setu Box Office Collection: Akshay KumarThis year’s fifth release, which had a Diwali release, benefited from the festive holidays at the ticket windows and raked in good numbers. Earning Rs 15.25 crore on the first day, the film raked in over Rs 35 crore at the box office in the first three days of its release. However, on November 1 (Tuesday), there was a big drop in its collections. The film has seen a drop of 50 per cent.

Ram Setu marked Akshay’s fourth theatrical release this year after Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan. It locked horns with Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh lead the comedy drama, Thank God, directed by Indra Kumar.
According to Box Office India, “Ram Setu collected a low net collection of 2.75-3 crores on Monday, which is 50% less than Friday, but that hardly matters as Friday was less. First week (7 days) of the film. The collection is 58. Crore nett and the extended week should go to around 65 Crore nett. The film continued to behave better in pockets largely after the holiday period in Gujarat/Saurashtra, Rajasthan or UP, but during the holiday period these There were really good collections at places but now despite being better these collections can’t be called good or even decent.”
The second week will see limited collections and the film may struggle to earn 10-15 crores after its first week as less viewership on Monday will mean a huge shortage of shows in the second week.
