Raveena Tandon asks why Madhuri Dixit is called ’90s superstar’ when there is no Aamir or Salman Khan: ‘We need to end this inequality’

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon recently highlighted the difference between the presentation of male and female actors in the media. The actor who was last seen in . was seen in KGF: Chapter 2questioned that when people talk about Madhuri Dixit, they address her as a ’90s star’, but when they mention Aamir Khan, they never refer to her as a ’90s star. Not addressed as ‘K Star’.

At the recently held Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2022, Raveena said, “When Aamir takes a break of 2-3 years and comes back with a film, you don’t call it his comeback. You don’t say ’90s superstar Aamir Khan is with us today.’ Hum bhi lagaar kaam hi karte hain (we are also working regularly). But I see a lot of articles in the media about ’90s superstar Madhuri Dixit doing the same thing now.”

Raveena Tandon says Madhuri Dixit for a long time and asked what it meant to label her as a ’90s star. In Raveena’s opinion, the ‘disparity’ between male and female actors should end. “You never said that Salman Khan either Sanjay Dutt, Therefore, we need to end this inequality,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Raveena will next be seen in the family entertainer Ghudchadi along with Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan and Kushali Kumar. The film is being directed by Binoy Gandhi and produced by T-Series and Keep Dreaming Pictures. She will also be seen in a lead role in Arbaaz Khan’s upcoming social drama Patna Shukla.
