
Recently, several rumors have surfaced that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been replaced in the upcoming project Citadel. Some even speculated that due to her autoimmune disease called myositis, she is taking a long sabbatical from work, which has changed her in her upcoming projects. But all speculations have been quashed by Samantha’s team, they have also confirmed the shooting schedule.
As quoted by Bollywood Hungama, Samantha’s publicist said, “Everything that has been written about her being replaced at Citadel is complete rubbish. She will start shooting in the second fortnight of January.
Garh is an upcoming web series which is an Indian adaptation of the detective series of the same name. Produced by filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the series will be launched exclusively on Prime Video. Apart from Samantha, it also stars Varun Dhawan. Varun will make his OTT debut with Citadel.

Last year, Samantha revealed that she had been diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune condition. She shared a picture of herself sitting on a couch with an IV drip attached to her wrist on her Instagram handle.
Samantha will next be seen in Shakuntalam, which will hit the theaters on February 17. Based on Kalidasa’s acclaimed Sanskrit play Abhigyana Shakuntalam, the film is written and directed by Gunasekhar, the award-winning director of the 2015 film Rudramadevi. The actress will also be seen in the upcoming romantic drama Khushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The film is going to release this year.
Samantha is ruling the roost of a leading research report month after month in 2022 as she has topped a study of India’s Most Popular Female Stars. She also popularized the dance number, Oo Antwa with her super sensuous avatar and effortless dance moves. She was last seen in Yashoda, in which she played the role of a surrogate mother. The film was released on 11 November. Yashoda leaves no stone unturned to impress the audience.
