Sridevi He was one of the most famous actors of Indian cinema. The untimely death of the veteran actress shook the nation and filled every heart with grief. He died in the bathroom of his hotel room in Dubai on February 24, 2018. The post-mortem report stated the cause of death as ‘accidental drowning’. She was survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and their daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Ever since she left for her heavenly abode, fans celebrate her iconic era every single day. His family misses him dearly, and they often share his pictures on social media. Recently Boney Kapoor The. appeared on Kapil Sharma Show and remember how Sridevi told him to quit smoking.
During the show, Boney revealed that Sridevi had asked him to stop smoking. However, after Sridevi’s passing, there came a time when she considered returning to smoking. Boney recalled that he was in Dubai for three to four days when the actress passed away, and that’s when he experienced the strongest urge as he was alone and experiencing emotional pain, stress and anxiety.
He suddenly remembered how Sridevi had requested him to leave by assuring him of her love for him when he first requested her to do so. When she left, the producer wanted to smoke, but he reminded himself that if he truly loved his wife, he wouldn’t. That’s why he admitted not to touch cigarettes even at that time and he still does so today.
