
It is often seen that people are not comfortable speaking or opening up on issues like abortion, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and so on. However, Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor claims that these are the main issues that need to be discussed and the 10-episode series ‘Nishadh 2’ focuses on these topics. It is a sequel to the 13-part series ‘Nishedh’ which aired in 2020 and Bhumi Pednekar was roped in to endorse and promote the show.
Now, for season 2, the makers have roped in Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor to promote and endorse the series as a brand ambassador and he says: “‘Nishadh Season 2’ is completely ‘Khul Ke Bol’ matches your idea of K. For a young, inquiring mind, a show like this sets in motion a cycle of asking tough questions that further normalizes topics that were previously taboo. It all starts with an open conversation Is.
Set in and around Modern University in the fictional city of Premnagar, it is the story of Inaaya, a student who finds it difficult to talk about topics like sex and relationships when she has to make a film on it. Similarly, Hina, an aspiring influencer, learns that she is suffering from tuberculosis but tries to hide it for the sake of her image on social media. Such interesting and heart touching stories are a part of the series.

‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame Aseema Vardan, who plays Inaaya in the series, says: “‘Nisheed’ looks at relevant issues of youth with a lens of acceptance and openness. The series includes powerful themes around issues that should have It’s easy to talk about, but doubly difficult. I’m sure people will find a reflection of themselves and their social circles in our characters and relate to the challenges they face.”
