The Supreme Court has granted anticipatory bail to Amazon Prime Video’s India Head Aparna Purohit in the FIR registered regarding the web series ‘Tandav’.
A bench of justices Sanjiv Khanna and MM Sundaresh granted the relief noting that Purohit was cooperating with the investigation.
“In view of the aforesaid submissions, we confirm the interim order and direct that in the event of the arrest of the appellant Aparna Purohit, she shall be granted bail on such terms and conditions as may be decided by the trial court by the arresting authority/Trial Court”.
