Tvf Pitchers Season 2: The much awaited web series of Naveen Kasturia and Jeetu Bhaiya is finally making a comeback on screen after 7 years. With a teaser clip, OTT platform ZEE5 announced the release date of TVF Pitchers Season 2 on Monday, 5th December. Pitchers is the story of four entrepreneurs who quit their jobs to set up their own venture, against all odds. in their lives.
Sharing the clip, ZEE5’s social media handle tweeted, “After 7 years, 3 months and 5 days, they are finally back!”. The clip gives a teaser of the most famous scene from the first season “Tu Bir Hai”, and then from the upcoming season with Abhishek Banerjee telling Naveen Kasturia that beer is now stale, and before the punchline for the former says Hai’s next season, the show’s release date has been announced as “Pitching This Christmas”.
An official statement from ZEE5 read, “Season 2 of Pitchers is going a notch higher not just in terms of story but visually as well. The characters have evolved and so has the world of start-ups that they have to navigate. The show has always been about offering something new to the audience and we hope to live up to the love of the fans.”
The first season of the show was directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar, who also featured as Puneet in two episodes. The first season had Tu Bir Hai, and then there were five episodes titled Four, The Jury Room, Bulb Jalega Boss and Where Magic Happens.
The series stars Naveen Kasturia as Naveen Bansal, Arunabh Kumar as Yogendra Kumar Pandey, Abhay Mahajan as Saurabh Mandal, and Jitendra Kumar as Jitendra Maheshwari. TVF Pitchers 2 will see Ridhi Dogra, Sikandar Kher and Ashish Vidyarthi as new entrants in the second season of the web series.
