Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale has been put on life support system after his condition deteriorated.

Well-known veteran actor Vikram Gokhale is undergoing treatment at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune for the last 15 days. However, it seems that the actor is not showing any improvement and his condition is getting worse. According to ANI, his condition remains critical. However, the doctors steadfastly refused to divulge any other details about the veteran actor’s health, saying that his family would provide updates on the same.

Vikram Gokhale has made significant contributions to Indian cinema. The actor has featured in many films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, Bang Bang, Hichki, Mission Mangal and others.

For the unmarried, the veteran actor is the son of Marathi theatrical artist and film actor Chandrakant Gokhale. Apart from acting, he has also ventured into direction. In 2010, he made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Aaghat. He has won many honours. For her performances in theatre, she received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2011. For his Marathi film Allowee, he won the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2013. He is also a social worker.

Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, the actor discussed his struggles and how Amitabh Bachchan helped them through them. He said, “I went through a lot of struggle when I entered this industry. I was going through a huge financial crunch and was looking for shelter in Mumbai. When Amitabh Bachchan came to know about this, he personally Roop wrote a letter to Manohar Joshi.” , who was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra during 1995–99. And I got a house from the government only because of his recommendation. I still have with me the letter that I made. ,
