Vijayanand Box Office Collection Day 4: The Kannada film industry is churning out some amazing content across various genres that has been loved by audiences across the country. After Kantara, KGF franchise, 777 Charlie we now have Vijayanand. The biopic of Padma Shri Vijay Sankeshwar was released on the big screens on 9th December in 5 languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Directed by Rishika Sharma, the film stars Nihal R in the lead. The film performed well at the box office in its first 4 days and earned around Rs 1.03 crore in India.

As per the trade reports, the first 4 days collection is roughly Rs 1.03 crore in India. To this, another Rs 0.15 crore was added for all the languages. The film is the first official biopic in the Kannada language. Vijayanand produced the first film of VRL Film Productions.

Talking about the film, Padma Shri Vijay Sankeshwar said: “Many people approached me for a biopic and a biography on me, but I never thought I had achieved enough. When Rishika approached me When I approached him, I told him not to make the film, but he convinced me to say yes. When I saw Nihal in the film, I remembered my youth.”
To this, actor Nihal said, “I belong to Vijay sir’s region in North Karnataka and have grown up hearing wonderful stories about him. The music of the film is composed by National Award winning composer Gopisundar. Kirtan Pujari and Hemant have done the cinematography and editing respectively, while the art and costumes have been designed by Rishika Sharma.
