Waltair Veeraiah Box Office Collection Day 10: Chiranjeevi-Ravi Teja’s Telugu film continues to soar at the box office. There has been a huge increase in the numbers of the film on the weekend. After concluding the festive occasion of Pongal, when other South films are witnessing a drop in collections, Waltair Veeraiya has managed to register growth. The movies are now reaching close to Rs 150 crore at the ticket window.

The action comedy entertainer directed by Bobby Kolli registered phenomenal numbers at the box office on the 10th day of its release. As per early estimates, the Telugu film managed to earn over Rs 8 crore. According to the reports of trade websites, the total collection of the film has now crossed Rs 139 crore. If it continues at this pace, the film will touch Rs 150 crore mark in the second week.

About Waltair Veeraya

Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Shruti Haasan in the lead role. The makers of the film had promised that Balaiah would be seen in a never seen before action packed action packed ensemble. Balayya is said to play a double role in the action thriller. The big cast includes Varalakshmi Sarathkumar from Kollywood and Duniya Vijay from Sandalwood.

‘Voltaire Veeraiya’ stars Chiranjeevi as a local don whose authority is threatened when Municipal Commissioner ACP Vikram Sagar (played by Ravi Teja) arrives in the city. Chiranjeevi is at his best as always in action as well as hilarious sequences. He brings that special charm to the character and the narrative with his collective aura. Ravi Teja is equally good as the cop and the face-off between the two is a major asset.
