The much awaited first teaser Brendan Fraser The return vehicle whale is out. The promo is made up of beautiful frames, in which an emotional Brendan is seen saying to someone outside the camera, “People are awesome.”
The film also stars Stranger Things stars Sadie Sink and Hong Chau. It is helmed by prolific filmmaker Darren Aronofsky.
The Whale previously premiered at the Venice International Film Festival to much acclaim, with many critics viewing the return of Brendan Fraser as the performance of a lifetime.
Earlier, Brendan had spoken to Variety about the positive response to the film among his peers, saying, “I was emotional because it was the acceptance that what we did is making an impact. And this kind of feedback feels brand new in my professional life. ,
Brendan Fraser plays Charlie in The Whale, trying to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter, played by Sadie Sink. The film deals with filmy love, romantic love and psycho-physical illness.
Distributed by A24, The Whale is said to have a theatrical release sometime this December.
